FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1) FREE CONSULTATION

I want you and your pet to be comfortable with me. Our first meeting will be a short consultation, where you can ask any questions that you may have and let me know about any special requirements specific to your dog. I will take your dog for a short walk with or without one of my dogs to assess comfort and compatibility, dependent on the service you are interested in.

2) ALL DOGS MUST

a) Be spayed or neutered.
b) Have at least rabies and all three sets of puppy booster vaccinations.
c) Be healthy and sociable with other dogs and people.
d) Be non disruptive and have an understanding of basic commands.

3) VACCINATIONS

The only vaccinations that I require your pet to have are rabies and the first three puppy boosters. I believe that your own research and your veterinarian’s advice are the best tools when it comes to this important decision. I do recommend an anual titer test, that can measure the presence and amount of antibodies in blood. That said, I reserve the right to refuse services to any dog that may be ill or pose a health risk to the other dogs in my care.

4) PAYMENT

I require all services to be paid in advance. I accept cash, cheque, and money order for pay as you go clients, as well as Paypal for package and monthly clients.

5) WHAT TO BRING

All you need to bring for your dog’s overnight stay is food and any required medication. I will provide bedding and toys, dishes etc.

6) BOARDING APPROVAL

Your dog must have accompanied me on at least one daycare day to be approved for in home boarding. I want this to be an enjoyable experience for your best friend, and to be sure that they are comfortable with me and my home.
